About NEXsteps
NEXsteps exists because planning on paper and real life don’t always line up.
Over the years, I’ve worked with many people who had done what they thought was required. They had wills, powers of attorney, and other documents in place. Yet when life shifted through illness, aging, or death, they were still left feeling uncertain about what came next and what their role actually involved.
Often, the challenge wasn’t a lack of documents.
It was a lack of clarity.
NEXsteps is about helping people think through those realities before decisions are forced by circumstance. It focuses on preparedness, understanding responsibilities, and reducing stress for the people who may one day need to step in.
This work does not replace legal or financial advice. It sits alongside it, helping people understand what those documents mean in real life and how responsibilities tend to unfold when plans are put into action.

Experience Behind The Work
I bring years of practical experience to NEXsteps, supporting individuals and families as they think through estate planning, executor responsibilities, and life transitions. I’m a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) and hold a Personal Fiduciary certification. More importantly, this work is grounded in real situations, real decisions, and the realities people face when plans need to hold up in practice.
